Smartphone means a phone which isn’t just a phone. With your smartphone you can do much more than just calling and texting. The processing power of smartphones is increasing day per day. They are becoming as powerful as computers. So they need strong protection like computers from physical as well as internal things like viruses and malwares. These days viruses or harmful codes are often seen in many applications and Android isn’t different. If you download these infected files they can harm your device. To fix this problem ”Google” has announced a new service called ”Bouncer”.
How It Works:
When an app is ready to be uploaded on Android market, ”Bouncer” scans apps and developer accounts and looks for the harmful codes and known ”malwares”. It also looks for misbehaving applications and compares it against previously analysed apps. It also compares the behaviour of an application at different times to detect harmful things and behaviour. Apps passing this test are flagged for human review and defected apps are eliminated. So you are protected from these type of things. The main advantage of ”Bouncer” is that is doesn’t disrupt the end user experience. i.e; you don’t have to care about it because it runs on Google’s servers. Hope, this works well and Android users get smooth experience.
If you are an Android user, what do you think about it ? Let us know in comments:
